There are several exciting events coming up in the competition math community. Here are a few of our top picks:
Poolesville Math Tournament (PVMT) is a free online math tournament based in Maryland that has prizes worth over $30,000! I have looked at their past problems and they are quite high-quality, especially for a student-run competition. This is a great low-stakes contest that you can use as practice for the real competition environments.
Date: June 23rd

Note that only current 6th-9th graders can participate.
The Summer Solstice Math Olympiad is another free online math math contest. Students form teams between one and four and compete for almost $10,000 in prizes! There are four main rounds and a tiebreaker round, with problems ranging from AMC 8 difficulty through late AIME. SSMO is a full-day online event. Past SSMO rounds have had high-quality problems, and there also exists a sister event called the Winter Solstice Math Olympiad (WSMO).

TxO Math Bowl is another free team math contest, hosted on their own platform, TOPS Online Judge. I recommend trying TxO Math Bowl because its Head Problem Writer is an IMO Silver Medalist, so it's always fun to see what he manages to come up with! This competition is also run by the Ontario Competitive Mathematics Committee. The prizes are still TBD, but I have heard that they have a substantial budget.
Dates: July 3rd-July 5th

Some of their instructors are Moppers, and all of them are extremely qualified. This summer, they are offering classes in Algebra, Combinatorics, and Physics.
